I think I can help you with the team! My cousin Karyn (8:30 pace), roommate Eloise (I believe she is around 7:45) currently, and myself (about 7:30) are all looking for a team! We already have people willing to volunteer, and I know of other runners who are looking if you want me to find some more.
I promise we bring good food and fun times! I have ran this race twice, Eloise 3, and Karyn 5 or 6, so we know the drill.

My name is John and I've done this twice before (7:30 pace, male, 28). My cousin Karyn (8:40, female, 50) is also interested in joining a team. We also have volunteers willing to assist as needed.

I have a roommate as well (female 45) interested if you need 3. Honestly, I could easily find a 4th.

Hey!
My name is John Nolan, I live in Portland am 28 and usually average a 7:30 pace or better in half marathons during running season. I am interested in joining up with a team.

My cousin, Karyn, is 50 and she usually hits an 8:30 pace. We have participated the last two years and are looking again. It seems we usually jump on random teams and have helped fill last minute runner spots and volunteer spots.
We tend to be highly entertaining and love food. If interested please let me know.
