I am definitely interested. Do you know which mile markers those are? I am guessing the big hills :-) and what would be my cost? Thank you

Leg 19 starts at The Columbia County Fairgrounds not sure of the Mile Post, easy to get to from HWY 30 outside of St. Helens, with steep uphill and downhill grades, this leg is 5.89 miles, I've walked this leg before, while it's very hard I enjoyed it very much.

Leg 27 starts east of Jewell, again don't know the mile post, this leg is 5.60 miles, basically flat, no hills

Leg 35 is just outside of Astoria to the south and Seaside to the east, don't know the mile post, this leg is 7.20 miles, this leg is on a gated gravel road patrolled on horseback.  I've never walked this leg however, I've been told the only drawback is it's 7.20 miles.

Leg 19 is your hardest, once you get this one out of the way it gets easier.

We do the walk with 8 walkers, I paid for our team entry last fall, your portion of the entry fee would be $ 135.00.

Also, we have team fees that are due on the day of the walk of $ 64.75, this covers gas for both vehicles, bottled water, batteries, replacement vests, new headlamps and candy for the volunteers.

Karen (Team Captain) of Road Kill Grill is a good friend of mine (their team always finishes in the top 10 each year) both of us have been doing the walk for years.  She's a great friend to have.

We'd love to have you on our team, if you're still intersted after reading this all I need is your portion of the entry fee paid up front.  The team fees can be paid the day of the walk.

If you have any questions or concerns let me know.

Have a great eveing, looking forward to hearing from you.

David

Hey,
Not sure if you found a team but we are a coed, diverse team and have 3 spots open. If your interested in learning more about us, let me know. We did the race last year and had a blast. We range in age from twenty something's to fifty. We are living the dream and our theme this year is "walkin it like it's hot" LOL. Best, Lynn

Hi there! My name is Sarah and I'm the captain of "Defenders Of The Universe" We're a woman's team based out of Portland, all about super heroes. Some on the team are new to the game. Others have been walking for 6+ years. We're currently looking for 2 more walkers. Let me know if you're still looking! Thanks!

Still looking for a team. We need a couple more people. We are The Christopher Walkins. We are made of males and females age 30 to 70 and everywhere in between. We placed 12th overall last year, and 3rd in mixed walking. We are looking to do as well or better this year. Let me know if you are interested.
