Seeking one person to fill an open spot on a 12 person team

Hello! I am looking for someone to take my spot in a full 12-person hood to coast team. I am signed up for van 1-runner 4 but my team is very nice and there may be some runners willing to switch if you want a harder section. I recently tore my ACL and have a lot of bills to pay for surgery so I am trying to find someone who is willing to reimburse me for the $147 race fees as well. Please let me know if you are interested. Thank you!

Good morning Elizabeth,

I am so sorry to hear about your torn ACL.

I have run the H2C 30 plus years but our team did not get in this year.  I would be happy to pay your fee and run leg 4 for your team.  I am mostly retired 58 years old male who runs 8:30-9:30 depending on the leg.

I had cancer three years ago it made me stop running fir a while but now I'm back in track!!
this will be my first hood to coast race and I'm well prepared to do so.

Last year, I ran the 6th leg and averaged 7ish min/miles. But I run fast only so I have more fun time with the team  ;)
