Hey everyone

We are currently an all female team but open to moving into co-ed if needed.

The original idea was to grab all my friends to celebrate my 30th by running this race together, but I can't seem to get more than 6/7 to fully commit. I've run this race 5 times now, and know that a committed 7 in June means maybe 5-6 make it to race day! I've never made it to the start line with the same 12 that signed up in November!! Haha

I'm trying to see if there is someone out there that has an established van (six full members, and possibly their own alternates) that would like to join us. There isn't a ton of interaction between vans along the course, but we'd like to get together prior to the race for maybe a team dinner and van decorating thing (Thursday night) if possible. And would of course love to hang at the beach. There can be as much involvement prior to the race and during as wanted. We're a fun group, but also get if you guys want the freedom to do your own thing! We are running under the name of Pour Judgements, but are open to changing it :) That just happened to be the caption on my workout tank when I filled out the bid!

The beauty of this kind of set up is finding accommodations for six at the beach is much easier than finding for 12!!

We are a recreational team, though the bulk of us run several races a year (half marathons mainly) and only 2 are new to the relay. I think the six of us may end up averaging a 9 minute mile. But i'm not sure of that just yet. We have a couple wild cards that could run quite a bit quicker if they decide to get serious about it.

Let me know if this sounds like a good fit. We'd love to get another team added on prior to the t-shirt deadline which is quickly approaching!

Oh man! I would love to do this. I am 99.9% sure I could come up with the runners and volunteers  to do this. I rented a mini van in hopes of maybe having an opportunity like this come along. Is there any way I could get first dibs and a week to talk to some of the people I ran with last year? we were all between 8 to 9min mile runners. donston2004@gmail.com

Hey,
I think I can help you with the team! My cousin Karyn (8:30 pace), roommate Eloise (I believe she is around 7:45) currently, and myself (about 7:30) are all looking for a team! We already have people willing to volunteer, and I know of other runners who are looking if you want me to find some more.
Only thing, I'm a dude, so if you're ok going co Ed, I promise we bring good food and fun times! I have ran this race twice, Eloise 3, and Karyn 5 or 6, so we know the drill.
Let me know if interested! John.heliospt@gmail.com

Good Morning Miss.
I am very interested in running the Hood to Coast. I will be honest with you. I started running in April but am averaging a 8:24 overall with 138 miles logged to date. I won my first 10k, just completed the startlight in the top 30, have a 5k this weekend, running the HoodtoCoast Red, white and Blues 10k on July 1st, and the Sauvie flat on July 4th. I am training my bum of and can push 7:15 miles. My Birthday is Aug 30th, celebrating my 36th, and this would be a major pin in my cap. I am happy to provide more information if requested. I track every run on my Nike= app and post most all of my runs to Instagram and FB if you want to see my progress. Claudear81@gmail.com

If you need an individual runner to round out your team, please consider me.

I’m a 36 year old male and am looking for a team to join for Hood to Coast this year.

I’m not super fast, but I am consistent and reliable.

I ran the HTC-WA on June 3rd, so I have some experience with team relays. Pace I ran was: Leg 4 = 10.02 min/mi.  Leg 10 = 9.58 min/mi.

Last half marathon was on May 29.  Average pace was 11.06 min/mi.

I run 26-28 miles per week.  Long runs are 12 to 14 miles.  No problem running 8 miles, 3 days in a row.  Running is my primary hobby so I take my training serious.

Lastly, I have a positive attitude and can easily get along with a group of strangers.

Again, I’m not the fastest out there, but I am extremely reliable and will follow through with any team commitments I make.  I do not flake out at the last minute.

Hi!

I would love to join your team! I'm 26, female. I've only done one relay before- Ragnar Great River and had so much fun! I love meeting and hanging out with new people. I've ran >10 half marathons in between 1:50-2:00hr.

Hey!

My name is Jon and I would love to join your team.

Last year, I ran the 6th leg and averaged 7ish min/miles. But I run fast only so I have more fun time with the team  ;)

If you're still looking for someone to fill any spot, feel free to reach me at jon.berthet@gmail.com.

Thanks!
Jon

Greetings,

If your team is still looking for a runner, I'd be delighted to join y'all. I have yet to compete in an H2C and can run competitively and/or for fun, whatever your team needs. Feel free to email me at grandyt@oregonstate.edu if a slot is still available!

Thanks,
Trevor
