If you're still lokking, I am looking for a team for this year's Hood to Coast. I started running about 4 years ago and got hooked fast!! I have completed two marathons and numerous half marathons, but my true love are relays. I have been wanting to do Hood to Coast since I completed my first relay. I run for fun and I make sure my teams always have a great time!! I'm around a 9 /  9:30 mile.

My friend and I got this crazy idea in our head to summit Mt. Hood the day before the race, camp out at the base, and wake up the next day ready to run to the coast! Sadly, we didn't realize the registration fills up so fast so we missed the opportunity to build our own team. So now we're at the mercy of you fine folks to help us make this crazy dream a reality! Anyone willing to have 2 young, easy going, fun, enthusiastic females on their team, we would greatly appreciate it. I have a pretty long history of running, ran x-c back in high school, ran the Chicago Marathon twice in college, and have run multiple 5ks and half marathons since. My friend is a bit of a novice when it comes to running, but is extremely athletic, in that she rock/alpine climbs and is excited about training for a foot race!

I did the same thing there as I'm hoping to do with the HTC. I joined a team that needed runners. My average 10k is about 43 minutes. I typically run in the low 7 minute pace.
