We are a coed team looking for 3, yes 3 walkers. We average in age and speed but are hoping to get a few folks that can average between 13-15 minute miles. While not "competitive", we strive for our personal best while having fun. You must also commit to a team packet stuffing day a Friday in august where we stuff and prepare all the team bags for the race. I have captained a team for two years, but this year half my team are taking a break. I would love to do the race again with just myself, or if you are in need of a few more, I may have others from my past team interested. We placed 12th in the mixed division last year and 38 overall. While I am competitive in nature, we loved just having a great time together. We are recently down 2 walkers and in search of 2 enthusiastic replacements. We are a co-ed, mixed category group, so just about any age, or gender is welcome. We are a fun group of dedicated people who are excited to do this race again. We are hoping to have our 2 new members be able to walk about the same pace as our recently departed were doing... which is at or below a 12.5 minute mile. Living the dream is a coed team of everything from 20 somethings to almost 50. We are looking for 2 walkers and asking that you at least be able to walk between a 13-15 min mile.
